SCAM ALERT – FAKE JOB OFFERS USING SMASHEL DIGITAL MARKETING NAME

We’ve been made aware of a fraudulent text message and job posting claiming to be from Smashel Digital Marketing. These messages offer remote "data provider" jobs with promises of high earnings in USDC or CAD and request your personal information.

⚠️ THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT RESPOND. DO NOT CLICK LINKS.

Here are the red flags:

❌ The messages come from suspicious numbers and impersonate real companies.
❌ They falsely claim people referred you or name-drop Walmart.
❌ They guarantee unrealistic income for minimal work (e.g. $1,100 CAD in 5 days).
❌ They mention cryptocurrency payments and request wallets.
❌ They are NOT sent from any official Smashel Digital Marketing contact or email.

👉 Smashel Digital Marketing would NEVER contact you like this via unsolicited text messages or ask for digital wallets or crypto transactions.

âś… If you receive one of these messages:

  • Do NOT click any links
  • Do NOT share any personal or banking information
  • Report the number as spam
  • Block the sender

Please help us keep the community safe by sharing this post and letting others know.

Stay alert. Stay safe.
